В истории России было много знаменательных событий, достойных быть увековеченными в народной памяти. Во все века героизм и мужество защитников отечества, мощь и слава русского оружия были неотъемлемой частью нашей истории. Памятная дата — 3 сентября 1945 года — это своего рода второй День победы — победы над Японией, которой как раз и закончилась Вторая мировая война. В этот день у памятника павшим советским воинам прошел митинг, посвященный окончанию Второй мировой войны. Учащиеся и учителя нашей школы, сотрудники Посольства отдали долг памяти советским воинам, погибшим на фронтах Второй мировой войны, вспомнили события, предшествующие завершению войны, и возложили цветы к обелиску. В память о погибших была объявлена минута молчания.

In the history of Russia there were many significant events worthy of being immortalized in the people's memory. Heroism and courage of defenders of Fatherland, the power and glory of the Russian weapons have been an integral part of our history for centuries. The memorable date, September 3, 1945, is like the second Victory Day - victory over Japan, which just ended World War II. On this day dedicated to the end of World War II was held a rally at the monument to the fallen Soviet soldiers. H.E. Mr. Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia, employees of the Embassy, students and teachers of our school, paid tribute to the memory of the Soviet soldiers, remembered the events leading up to the end of the war and laid flowers at the foot of the obelisk. A minute of silence was announced in memory of the dead.
